Policronica (former Studio Combo) won the competition to design the interiors of Backmarket’s office in Bordeaux, located in a building in the newly refurbished Bacalan area next to Bassins a Flot. The studio has designed and built the furniture and interior spaces, although not intervening in the building itself. The team designed, built and tested the prototypes of equipment such as tables, bubbles and boxes, using mainly wood and reusing waste materials whenever possible, following Backmarket’s concept of recycling.
